I am impressed with the quality of the map for Auraspure. The colors are rich but subdued enough for you to read the names on it. The mountains look rugged, the forest has a soft texture and the sea has a very pleasing wavey appearance. That's some of the nicest "sea water" that I've seen without getting wet. The land itself is torn between intruding seas, lakes and mountain ranges on either end so your adventurers will have plenty of opportunities to sail ships and climb mountains. Of course, if they want to live in the plains and raise horses or grow potatoes, it looks like there are some thousands of square miles available for that too. This map begs to have additional focus on certain kingdoms as only the largest settlements are shown but what is here is certainly enough to fire up the imagination. The "Poisoned City of of Garatt Ran" sounds like it is in dire need of brave adventurers to fix up. And what's hiding in the Hardine Castle ruins? Inquiring rogues want to know. Heh. To sum it up - this is a map worth buying. Five stars from me.
