Wyrmslayer: A Sword for One Purpose

A short adventure produced for the 4th ed. game system! This is made for levels 5-8 with a variety of classes. It also includes full page, color maps and a second downpload that contains the stats for all of the NPCs and monsters. This is an excellent follow up to Beyond the Black Door, as Wyrmslayer begins where the previous left off.

A mysterious stranger who claims to be a dragon rider is in Deepport looking for a company of heroes to retreive artifacts that will help him take his role in an ages old prophecy. Aragorn Cloud communicates directly with dragons by telepathy. He knows that the remaining dragons who live in the mountain on the Isle of Io are in an uproar and are a danger to man and themselves. No dragons are evil in this world. Until recently, a dragon had never attacked innocents!

Your PCs will travel the Inland Sea, battle pirates, storms and other terrors before they reach the Isle of Io. Once there, they have the task of exploring Dragon Mountain and looking for clues to find the artifacts. Many of the lairs are empty and other things have moved into the ancient stronghold. The treasure and rewards are high but then, so is the danger!

A sacred spire in the Kingdom of Elleron is taken by the demon lord, Varnaku, and his minions. So begins the quest in Hanan Pacha to rid the demi-plane of the evil ones who seek to make it part of their domain! The Spire of the Raven God; The Lair of the Demon Princess, The Dead of Winter and the Labyrinth of the Lost, Beyond the Black Door and Wyrmslayer are adventures that take your PCs throughout the regions of the central lands of the Inland Sea. There are plenty of conflicts, political intrigue, memorable NPCs and mysteries to solve as the heros seek the ultimate threat to the Land of Hanan Pacha!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
