DRAGONLOCK Ultimate: Village Buildings 1

ADD TO WISHLIST >

DRAGONLOCK™ Ultimate an interlocking terrain system that allows you to create fully modular, multi-level 28mm scale village terrain for your RPG or wargame on your home 3D printer. Individual pieces links to neighboring pieces with our exclusive Dragonbite™ clips. Each set is delivered as a downloadable .stl file, and once you have the set, you can print as many pieces as you like and never run out or need to purchase more.

A standard wall piece costs around 35 cents in plastic to print yourself, far cheaper than factory made terrain! All of the models shown were printed at 150 micron resolution, a common standard on most economical 3D printers. A nice starter printer that can print these files starts around $220 (see our F.A.Q. for more info on printers, printing costs, filaments, and more, over on the FDG website forums.)

This set includes:

• 32 modular building components

• Dragonbite™ Clips

• Instruction Guide

Hey, I recently bought this pack but I noticed that the peg used to connect the poles to the floors is round while on the pictures it looks like it should be some sort of clip. Is this just an update or did I receive the wrong files for this?

Nevermind! I just printed the posts too big, they now fit correctly.

Do you have plans on updating the gables and trusses with a round peg like attachment as found on the the new post style? The existing old style clips dont fit very well over the square peg and prevent a top from snapping down tightly on the walls leaving a large gap.

How much filament are we looking at if I wanted to say make around 6 buildings that look like the example shot shown?

*Obviously print settings vary, but with the recommended settings. (If none are provided, ~ 3 shells, 10% infill?)

Is this set compatible with the separate tavern walls? Could the roof be made to work?

Is this set up where you can only make this one building in this configuration or is it modular where you can design your own with the provided files?

I recently purchased the village buildings pack 1 and started printing the supports. I am using a Flashforge Finder (6 inch cubic printable area) and it looks like I am able to print everything. Amazing quality, I can't wait to get the representation of the village completed.

What are the dimensions of the largest piece? I can only print 7x7in and don't want to buy this if I can't print it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
