"You’re not the first person to enter these halls since they fell. There are gold coins scattered around the floor – on top of the fallen mantlestones, not crushed below. The blood on the walls isn’t centuries old, either.

There’s one handprint in particular. Someone stumbled, tried to catch himself, or herself, or whatever.
